In all the stages of formation the Sister who is in this journey, is given Sister or two to guide her as she continue the process of discernment – listening to your own inner voice, to God’s call, and spending time in reflections and prayers.
The Junior Sister professes the temporary vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience according to the Rule and Constitutions. She will repeat these vows annually twice more and then make vows for a two year period before formally requesting admittance to final vows.
After professing vows for the first time, Temporary Professed Sisters receive a black veil and a cross, our Rule of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis and Constitutions and sign for her profession in our Community Register. This celebration takes place only in our Provincial House.
They learn to better integrate prayer and daily living while emphasizing the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience.
